 Thanks to the Woodlawn Cemetery website for providing a burials database giving access to approximately 14,000 records. In addition to the name of the deceased, you will also find date of birth, date and place of death location of death, and location of plot in cemetery.

Use "Conference Keeper" to Find Genealogy Events/Classes

 Ever wish you could find a list of genealogy events and classes all in one place? A place that lets you see what's going on by location or topic?

Conference Keeper may be what you are looking for. It is not an exhaustive list of all events, of course. It is fed information by those who want to advertise what they are offing. As time passes and the site becomes better known, its usefulness grows. 

The landing page gives you simple access to a calendar of events, or events by category. Those are just two of the items you can find at the site. Scroll down the home page about three screens and you will see a detailed list of contents. 

The site may not be comprehensive, but if you are looking for genealogy events, it may become a resource you will not want to pass by.
