Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee Provides Online Burial Database

 The Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee was established in 1880 and exceeds 47,000 burials, the records for which are offered us in an online database.

You can search the database by name, grave location, and occupation. Your search will yield a hit list showing the person's name, service date, and grave location. Next to the name will be a Pin Number which will lead to an actual image of the interment record which contains lots more detailed information.

Select Canadian WWI Personnel Records Online at Library and Archives Canada

 The Library and Archives Canada makes available to us online select WWI Canadian Personnel Records, to include those if the Canadian Expeditionary Force.

The landing page provides explanations of what records are available, instructions on how to access them, and tips on how to craft productive searches. The volume of instructions and explanations can be a bit intimidating, but take your time to get through it and you will save yourself some time.
