In addition, it also shows how to uncover hints on using resources outside of the census itself. Online class—webinar, Summers

Native American Research Assistance from FamilySearch WIKI

You are probably familiar with the FamilySearch WIKI and what a wonderful, comprehensive resource it can be. But occasionally we require a reminder of how valuable it can be. As an example, let me share with you the WIKI's entries on Native American research.

You can find research strategies if you are new to Native American research or an experienced hand. Databases are numerous and hot linked for convenience...and links go well beyond the boundaries of just the FamilySearch site. You will see material related to the general area of Native American research as well as references to specific tribes. This is just a fraction of the information and assistance the WIKI provides.

If you are engaging in this area of research, don't overlook the value of the FamilySearch WIKI.
