Saturday, 16-Apr-22 at 11:00 AM. Program Meeting--Freedmen’s Bureau Black & White. Sharon Baptiste Gillins.

In this presentation, Sharon demonstrates how the records of the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands can be used to discover a wealth of information about black freedmen, white refugees, plantation operations and the sociological and economic conditions of the communities in which the Bureau operated.

Monthly general membership meeting with educational program, free and open to the public.
