Tuesday, 14-Dec-21 at 6:00 PM. WAR OF 1812-- This class seeks to provide an understanding of the historical significance of the War of 1812: it looks at the causes of the war, how it was fought, and its consequences. It then explores the genealogically relevant records generated in relation to the war: what they are, and where to find them.  Summers

Wednesday, 15-Dec-21 at 1:00 PM. Lineage Societies--the Hows and Whys of Joining--Learn tips for documenting your early arrival ancestors for lineage society use.  We will discuss what is a hereditary or lineage society, why you might want to join, and how to find the right ones for you.  Then we explain the paper trail requirements and what documentation you need to verify your tree is ready for submission. Even if you’re not interested in joining a group, you will learn useful tips to organize your data. Coffey
