Tuesday, 17-Aug-21 at 1:00 PM. Google (yes, Google!) is a powerful tool to help research your family data.  We will start with the basics of how to create a simple request that will find exactly what you seek.  Then we progress into tips and tricks on advanced Google tools to uncover credible, accurate information that will further enhance your family tree research. Saturday, 21-Aug-21 at 11:00 AM. Program Meeting--Achieving Equity in Genealogy--Diversity, inclusion, and equity are words heard often in our current day and age. But do they have anything to do with family history? This session will cover the direct and indirect ways genealogical and historical spaces have and have not been equitable in everything from records access, indexing, preservation efforts, and more.  Additionally, discover ways individuals, organizations, and institutions can help move things from dialogue to action.
