Thursday, 25-Feb-21 at 1:00 PM, Digital Images in Genealogy. This is a beginner level class on processing digitized images and using them in your genealogy research. This class will focus on the basic operations of importing, organizing, enhancing, and manipulating digital image files stored on your computer. We will cover how to acquire the image files (camera, email, scanner, internet) and demonstrate the use of a couple of Windows apps useful for scanning images and snipping portions of a document or webpage. We will introduce the use of the powerful, free graphic viewer, Irfanview, to accomplish many tasks that you may want to do to make your family history story more interesting.
