PGS Events for the Week of 26-31 October 2020

All scheduled PGS classes are posted on the society calendar at https://pinellasgenealogysociety.com/ which also has information on using Zoom (Zoom Orientation tab).

Beginning immediately, you must register for all PGS online classes and events. The process is quick and easy as described below for each class. You may register beforehand or at the time of the event. We are doing this primarily to provide another level of security.

Monday, 26-Oct-20 at 1:00 PM. Genealogical Proof--This class explains how to evaluate the evidence we collect as we build our family trees. Some sources are more reliable, some records bring us closer to the actual event, and some information is more “on point.” How do we rank all of this as we try to assemble genealogical “truth”? The class uses the “Genealogical Proof Standard” as the guide. Online class—webinar
