Trails of Hope: Accounts of Western Migration

The "Trails of Hope" website offers a collection of the writings of 49 people who traveled the Mormon, California, Oregon, and Montana trails. Even if none of these writers is your ancestor, they chronicle events and experiences that are probably representative of those your ancestors also faced.

Maps and photographs, sketches and more are also included in the site.
