Proving Native American Ancestry

Here is an interesting article by Henry Louis Gates, Jr. and Meaghan Siekman about proving Native American Ancestry. Even if you are not in the position to do that, the article has examples of the use of DNA testing and how it can be used in this pursuit that can be of interest to all researchers.

It is also interesting to see how different tribes address the issue of requirements for tribal affiliation.
